Let Claude post your trial reels and learn from them
Trial Reels are shown only to new people, not your followers. Now you can have Claude post them for you, read their real numbers, and improve the next video. This is the exact way I work, step by step.
① Why does this matter?
Test without hurting your account: a trial reel is shown to non-followers only, so if it flops, your followers never saw it.
Stop guessing: instead of guessing which opening works, post two openings and let the numbers tell you which is stronger.
AI reads the numbers: how many seconds people watched and how many swiped away in the first seconds, and it adjusts the next video based on that.
A machine that keeps running: every week a new test built on last week's winner.
② Connect SuperProfile to Claude
Create an account on SuperProfile and connect your Instagram account (it must be a professional account: creator or business).
In Claude: Settings › Connectors › add SuperProfile, sign in and approve the permissions.
On SuperProfile's scheduling page, tap Reconnect if it asks for permission to post to Instagram.
Scheduling posts needs a paid SuperProfile plan.
Now Claude can: prepare the post, upload the video, schedule it as a trial reel, add the auto DM reply, and read the numbers after it goes out.
③ Post a trial reel (and let it reply in DMs)
Copy the prompts and edit what's in brackets:
Prepare an Instagram Trial Reel for me through SuperProfile: this video (upload it), this caption (paste it), and post it as a manual trial (MANUAL) tomorrow at 6 PM (your city) time. Show me the draft before scheduling.
Add an auto DM reply (Auto-DM) to the scheduled reel: anyone who comments with (your word) gets this text (paste it) with the link (your link). Keep it as a draft, and turn it on after I approve.
💡 Manual or automatic? "Manual" (MANUAL): you decide what goes to your followers. "Automatic" (SS_PERFORMANCE): Instagram shares it with your followers if it performs well. If you test several versions of the same video, keep it manual so not every version reaches your followers.
④ Read the numbers and pick the winner
After 24 hours: get me the numbers for the trial reels posted this week: views, the share who swiped away in the first 3 seconds, average watch time, shares and saves. Rank them and tell me which one won and why.
The most important number for the opening: the share who swiped away in the first 3 seconds. The lower it is, the stronger the opening.
Then: average watch time, then shares and saves.
Don't judge too fast: wait until each version reaches at least 500 views.
📲 The last step is yours: open the winning reel in the Instagram app and tap Share with followers. This is the only step you have to do yourself.
⑤ The weekly loop
Pick the winners: reels that got about 3 times your usual views.
3 versions per winner: a new opening, a different first shot, and a version 30% shorter.
Post them as trials on different days, each at a different time.
After 72 hours: read the numbers, share the winner with your followers, and note which opening won.
Next week: build on what won.
Take the winning reel and give me 3 new openings in the same style as the opening that won, so we can test them next week.
⑥ Good to know
👥 Eligibility: your account needs enough followers to use trial reels, otherwise posting is refused.
🔁 Don't repost the same file: each version must really differ (opening, shot, length). Reposting the exact same video can be counted as duplicate content.
✅ You make the call: have Claude show you everything before scheduling. You barely touch it, but the approval is always yours.
